Five towns, one package

The water changes from town to town, and so does who bills for it, so each town page below names the utility and cites its source. What does not change is the job: a whole house water softener at the main and a reverse osmosis tap at the kitchen sink, installed by licensed local plumbers, for $2,999* with standard installation.

• Orlando, Orange County: OUC serves the City of Orlando and parts of Orange County; other addresses are on Orange County Utilities or a private well, so the name on the bill decides the water source.
• Clermont, Lake County: The City of Clermont bills water for some addresses entirely and others partially, so a Clermont home may be on city water, another provider or a well.
• Winter Garden, Orange County: The City of Winter Garden publishes an annual water-quality report conducted by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection; homes billed by another provider use that provider's report.
• Ocoee, Orange County: Ocoee draws its drinking water from the Floridan aquifer through the city's own treatment facilities, separate from the reclaimed water used for irrigation.
• Windermere, Orange County: Windermere runs no water utility of its own; homes are on Orange County Utilities or a private well, and the package is for utility water.
