The regeneration cycle that keeps your water soft runs on its own on a schedule, using a small amount of water each time. How long does the installation take? Most standard jobs are a single visit; the exact time depends on where the main and the kitchen sink are relative to each other and what the plumbing looks like once the crew is on site.

Do I need to be home for the installation? Someone with authority to approve the work needs to be reachable, but you will know exactly what to expect for your appointment when it is scheduled.

Who actually installs the equipment? Installations are performed by licensed local plumbers coordinated through DE Home Services, which is insured. The same standard-installation terms apply no matter which plumber is assigned to the job.

What if my home has older or unusual plumbing? Older or unusual materials can change what fittings a job needs, but they rarely change the price for a standard home.

Do you install on private wells? Well water needs its own testing and a separate treatment plan first, since conditions vary too much address to address to fit the standard utility-water package; that is a separate conversation, priced on its own.

What if something nonstandard turns up once the plumber is on site? Nothing changes without you knowing first: any extra work is quoted in writing and agreed before it is added, never billed as a surprise afterward.
